Sketch & Hike
Join me for an exciting adventure that combines hiking and art!
This event is absolutely free and open to everyone, but please remember to bring your own preferred painting materials. I’ll be there to provide guidance on choosing subjects and techniques, but it won’t be a classical guided painting event.
We’ll hike up to Felsenegg, spend time studying and recording what we see and feel through the creative methods of drawing, journaling, and watercolor painting. We'll enjoy lunch, chat, and have a great time together!
Here are the important details you need to know:
Date and Time: July 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM. RSVP is necessary!
Location: Near Adliswil-Felsenegg cable car.
What to Bring: Don't forget to bring your sketchbook or paper and your favourite sketching materials. I will be bringing my portable watercolors from Schminke and a small A5 sketchbook along with a pencil. Additionally, remember to wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, water, and possibly something to sit on during our creative sessions.
The Plan: We will hike up to Felsenegg, find an interesting location to paint, and enjoy a delightful lunch at the Felsenegg restaurant. Afterward, you can choose to descend either by cable car or on foot, depending on your preference.
Weather Updates: As we all know, Mother Nature can be unpredictable. If the weather doesn't cooperate on the scheduled day, we will reschedule our Sketch&Hike event. I will keep you updated in case of any changes. Our “backup” date is the 21st of July.
Questions? If you have any questions or need further information, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here for you.
